A victim of his own anger, the kid (prince) is a musician of Minneapolis in the rise with his band The Revolution, escaping from a tumultuous home life through music. As he tries to avoid the same mistakes as his rude father (Clarence Williams III), the kid goes around the club scene and rocky relationships with a compelling singer – Apollonia (Apollonia Kotero). But another musician, Morris (Maurice Day), seems to steal the kids’ spotlights – and her girl.
